NUTRITION SERVICES
Dining Service’s registered dietitian is available for consultation free of charge to all students. We often make accommodations for students with special dietary needs such as food allergies, gluten intolerance, hypoglycemia, and gastrointestinal issues.
AVAILABILITY OF NUTRITION INFORMATION
Dining Services utilizes the Just4U© Health-Finder Nutrition System. The program helps students identify menu selections to bring health and flavor together by combining wholesome ingredients, fresh colorful fruits and vegetables, the right touch of herbs and spices and simple cooking techniques like baking sautéing and steaming.
Nutrition identifier cards are posted on all items served in the Residential Dining Halls. They display calories, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sodium and cholesterol information for each serving. The colorful Just4U Icons help identify the foods that are lower in fat, fewer in calories and carbohydrates. Vegetarian & Vegan menu selections are also identified through this system.

Harrington Market & Rodney Market provide a variety of healthy convenience store essentials such as fat free milk, low fat yogurt, whole grain cereals, juices, and low fat snacks.
P.O.D. Market features a variety of healthy grab 'n go dining options including fresh produce, sandwiches, and salads, as well as traditional convenience store essentials. The markets offer information about their place of origin and nutritional values with clearly definite product cues for items such as vegan, organic, kosher, locally-grown, gluten-free, low-card or fair trade.
