Vegetarian and Vegan Dining Guide

Residential Dining

University of Delaware Residential Dining Hall menus are designed with the vegetarian in mind. The following options are available on a daily basis:

Brunch or breakfast options include Omelets made-to-order, Pancakes, French Toast, Vegetarian Breakfast Sausage Patties, Assorted Cereals, Soy Milk, Yogurt, & Fresh Fruit

Lunch and Dinner options include the following:

 * At least one specialty vegan selection and one specialty vegetarian selection such as Korean BBQ Tofu, Falafel Platter, Vegan Chicken Cutlets, Grilled Vegetable Quesadilla, Indian Curried Vegetables and Balsamic Roasted Vegetable Wrap

 * Fresh Salad Bar with Hummus, Tofu, Beans, and vegan salads such as Mexican Black Bean Salad, Lentil Rice Salad and Mixed Bean Salad

 * Soy Milk * Vegetarian Soup * Steamed, Grilled, Sauteed, and/or Roasted Vegetables * A variety of grains including Quinoa, Whole Wheat Couscous, Brown Rice, Lentils Barley and Bulgur Wheat

 Many items served in the Residential Dining Halls can be customized and made to be vegetarian or vegan - Just ask!

Retail Express Dining

These cases are located in The Scrounge, Trabant Food Court, Walters and Figure 8. They provide a convenient dining solution including the following:

Greek Veggie Wrap                         Fresh Fruit Cups
Fresh Berry & Yogurt Parfait             Vegetarian Soup*
Cheese, Fruit, & Nut Platter
Fresh Mozzarella & Roasted Tomato on Ciabatta

Grille Works features Malibu Veggie Burgers & Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Deli Station sandwiches include Four Cheese Panini, Hummus Ciabatta & Spicy Grilled Vegetable Baguette

Soup Station offers daily vegetarian soup selection

Zoca features Bean or Portobello Stuffed Mexican specialties

Trabant Food Court - Trabant University Center

Greens To Go features Made-To-Order Salads, Wraps, and Parfaits

Burger Studio offers Malibu Veggie Burgers with all the right toppings

Topio’s offers Pizzas, Calzones, Stromboli’s and Salads

Quiznos offers Vegetarian Soup, Salads and Sandwiches

Soup Station offers daily vegetarian soup selection

Bleeker Street - Morris Library

Salad options include a Mandarin Cranberry Crunch Salad

Specialty sandwiches include Hummus & Feta on Ciabatta, Portobello Florentine Baguette & Four Cheese Hot Panini

Soup Station offers daily vegetarian soup selection

The P.O.D. Market - Pencader - Laird Campus

Organic “Macro Vegetarian” meals include Shanghai & Hunan Dumplings and Artichoke Spinach Noodles

“Amy’s” Entrees include Spinach Tomato Pizza, Gluten Free Macaroni & Cheese, and Vegetable Lasagna

“Gardenburger” Vegetarian Patties

“Quorn” Meatless Chicken Nuggets
