Food Allergies & Intolerances
Making food choices at Bloomsburg Easy & Safe
Bloomsburg University Dining is committed to providing the best information and choices to help students with allergies eat safe.
· Complete access to our Management & Culinary Teams connecting students with those who understand ingredients and how food is prepared.
· Labeled food identifiers for items that contain allergens such as nuts, seafood and shellfish.
Breads: gluten free bread, muffins and hamburger buns can be found at the Deli Station at the Scranton Commons, as well as by request at the Husky Lounge.
Pasta: The Scranton Commons popular Pasta Station also carries gluten free pasta that can be prepared on request.
Grains: Rice can be found daily at lunch and dinner in the Scranton Commons.
Cereal & Snacks: Our Intolerance Station located on the West side of the dining room, next to desserts contains Gorilla Munch Cereal, cookies, chips, crackers, pretzels and other snacks for students who follow a gluten free diet.
Protein Salads & Deli Meat: Our Deli offers tuna, chicken & egg salad daily, along with gluten free turkey and smoked turkey deli meat.
Soy Milk & Rice Milk are available for students to drink freely when they are in the Scranton Commons.
