Welcome to ARAMARK Higher Education at Dalhousie University. Our food quality, variety, and convenience makes for a pleasurable dining experience. We aim to keep up with trends in foodservice - offering you well-balanced, nutritional Canadian cuisine, multi-cultural dishes and popular national brands.

ARAMARK is offering the concept of RFoC to campus dining. This foodservice concept has allowed us to reinvent the traditional residence dining program on campus. It is a fresh, new, innovative marketplace theme where there is a lot of action, colour and a lot of things going on.

What is the RFoC concept?

It is exhibition-style cooking to order, which takes the mystery out of the dining hall. The RFoC concept allows for a more personalized dining experience because meal choices at each of the stations are prepared fresh right in front of your eyes according to your own personal preferences.

"Our commitment is to provide our guests with the highest quality foods, prepared right before your eyes, by friendly energetic people in an open and relaxing atmosphere. We make great food fun!"

There are four convenient locations to serve you across campus including Shirreff Hall, Howe Hall, O'Brien Hall & Risley Hall. With our all-you-care-to-eat meals, you'll never be hungry!

Students who live in Howe Hall, Shirreff Hall, Eliza Ritchie Hall, Gerard Hall, O'Brien Hall, Risley Hall and the Mini Residences automatically have a meal plan as a part of their residence package. However, non-residence students, faculty, and staff are welcome to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner in the residence dining rooms.

Anyone can buy a single meal (rates below), purchase one of many meal plans or use their Dalcard.
